Not creating content for your website
Content has always been king of the search engine hill and it continues to reign even today, mobile responsiveness aside. Websites who update regularly tend to be placed higher on search than sites that don’t. Aside from this technical standpoint, people come back to a website primarily for new content (emphasis on “new”) so better get cracking on new regular content.
Not interacting with your audience
Once people start going to your site and gets comfortable, it’s only natural they’ll start talking (assuming your site allows for comments). One of the worst things you can do is to ignore them. You’re not only missing out on new ideas to improve your offerings but you’re also missing out on the opportunity to connect to your audience on a deeper level and grow your business.
Not investing on online marketing/advertising
All things considered advertising online is a hell of a lot cheaper than traditional advertising. It’s also more agile, flexible, and (best of all) measurable. You can actually do a lot with just a few dollars a week. Ignoring Social Media
